Le souvenir extrêmement précis d’une grand scène et de tonalités rouges pour un spectacle auquel j’avais assisté à l’âge de 6 ans en classe de CP. Une scène soutenant le souvenir de ce souvenir. Un temps arrêté en quelque sorte.

Et puis un jour, 50 années plus tard,je trouve dans mes affaires un dessin que j’avais fait à l’époque. La mise en image de ce qui m’apparaissait depuis, donc, comme un souvenir.

Et puis, un autre jour, il y a peu, un autre déplacement, celui de cette scène représentée sur le dessin reportée sur un tableau.

Avec le titre retrouvé sur mon dessin d’enfant, Le péi dé carante orloge.

And then one day, 50 years later, I find in my belongings a drawing that I had done at the time. The imaging of what appeared to me since, therefore, as a memory.

And then, another day, not long ago, another displacement, that of this scene represented on the drawing transferred to a painting.
