Un bleu

Le vendredi 3 janvier 2020 Cédric Chouviat, chauffeur livreur, est interpellé par une patrouille de police alors qu’il circule en scooter. Il mourra trois jours après avoir subit une clé d’étranglement et un plaquage ventral de la part de trois des policiers de la patrouille.

Lors de cet étrangement il dît neuf fois « J’étouffe ».

Le 28 juillet de la même année le ministre de l’intérieur français Gérald Darmanin prononce sciemment cette phrase devant la commission des lois de l’assemblée nationale « Quand j’entends le mot violences policières, personnellement, je m’étouffe ».

Durant le temps de ces manifestations 30personnes ont été éborgnées par les tirs des policiers.

Un rouge

Le procès dit France Télécom est celui du groupe France Télécom et de ses principaux dirigeants accusés d’avoir fomenté un plan de restructuration de l’entreprise particulièrement féroce ayant entraîné une énorme souffrance pour les employés. 39 d’entre eux se sont suicidés par pendaisons, défenestrations, immolations. Des morts sans appels figurés dans le panneau rouge.

Lors du procès en appel, Jean Veil, fils de Simone Veil, s’est adressé en ces termes à l’un des témoins cité par les parties civiles, en l’état, les proches des personnes suicidées, « J’hésite à vous poser une question, je ne voudrais pas être accusé de harcèlement moral ou que vous vous suicidiez en sortant ». Son client, Didier Lombard, ancien PDG de l’entreprise, avait quelques années auparavant parlé d’une mode des suicides.

Comme je l’ai dit à mes enfants, nous sommes passés de « Piere-feuille-ciseaux » où tout le monde peut gagner à « Immolé-pendu-défenestré » où tout le monde perd.

En 2017 s’est tenue une exposition des œuvres du peintre Bernard Buffet au musée d’art moderne de Paris. À la toute fin de l’exposition, un petit film avec quelque chose qui a particulièrement retenu mon regard. Le peintre signant une œuvre. Une signature construite, architecturée, avec des traits requérant une minutie soutenue. Je me suis dit alors que son suicide avait été impulsé par l’impossibilité de désormais pouvoir soutenir son nom du fait de sa maladie de Parkinson.

Parlant de maladie, dans le film The Medusa touch – La grande menace – Richard Burton gît sur son lit d’hôpital après que l’on ait voulut attenter à sa vie. Son assassin avait découvert qu‘il projetait de réaliser un meurtre de masse. Burton, alias John Morlar, ne tient à la vie que par un fil, un fil matérialisé par la ligne des battements de son coeur. Un électro-encéphalogramme témoin de la pureté de sa haine. Une haine intarissable moteur de vie. Ce sont les traits bleus de (Blanc).

Parlant de maladie, le trait rouge du panneau blanc est la signature de Donald Trump.

Le triptyque Un bleu (un blanc) un rouge marque le temps – le notre – de la haine institutionnalisée dans une parole partagée – la notre.

One blue
On Friday January 3, 2020 Cédric Chouviat, delivery driver, was arrested by a police patrol while riding a scooter. He will die three days after suffering a strangulation key and a belly tackle from three of the patrol officers.

During this strangely he said nine times "I suffocate".

On July 28 of the same year, the French Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin knowingly pronounces this sentence before the law commission of the National Assembly "When I hear the word police violence, personally, I suffocate".
The blue panel of this triptych represents the scene of the strangulation of Cédric Chouviat overlooked by the eye of a blinded teenager during the demonstrations of the yellow vests.

During the time of these demonstrations, 30 people were blinded by police fire.

One  red
The so-called France Telecom trial is that of the France Telecom group and its main executives accused of having fomented a particularly fierce restructuring plan for the company that caused enormous suffering for the employees. 39 of them committed suicide by hanging, defenestration, immolation. Deaths without appeals figured in the red panel.

During the appeal trial, Jean Veil, son of Simone Veil, spoke in these terms to one of the witnesses cited by the civil parties, in the state, the relatives of the suicides, "I hesitate to ask a question, I wouldn't want to be accused of mobbing or for you to kill yourself on the way out". His client, Didier Lombard, former CEO of the company, had spoken of a fashion for suicides a few years earlier.

As I told my children, we have gone from "Rock-paper-scissors" where everyone can win to "Immolated-hanged-defenestrated" where everyone loses.

  One white In 2017, an exhibition of the works of the painter Bernard Buffet was held at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. At the very end of the exhibition, a short film with something that particularly caught my eye. The painter signing a work. A constructed, architectural signature, with features requiring sustained meticulousness. I said to myself that his suicide had been prompted by the impossibility of now being able to support his name because of his Parkinson's disease.  Speaking of illness, in the movie The Medusa touch – The Great Threat – Richard Burton lies on his hospital bed after an attempt was made on his life. His assassin had discovered that he planned to carry out a mass murder. Burton, alias John Morlar, holds on to life only by a thread, a thread materialized by the line of the beats of his heart. An electro-encephalogram witness to the purity of his hatred. An inexhaustible hatred engine of life. These are the blue lines of (White). Speaking of illness, the red line on the white panel is Donald Trump's signature.  The triptych A blue (a white) a red marks the time - ours - of hatred institutionalized in a shared word - ours.
